I have extremely sensitive combination/oily skin which means the less ingredients in products, the better. It doesn’t take much to irritate my skin. I can’t even use makeup remover or makeup remover wipes. For years, I strictly did oil cleansing but, truth be told, prolonged use of those oils took a toll on the pipes connected to my bathroom sink. So, for the last year and a half I’ve been trying out different facial cleansers about every three months.
I’m loving the products I’ve picked up from Source Vital so much, I had to share some of them!
Their botanical based line - which contain high quality seaweed, plant extracts and pure essential oils - provides skin with the necessary nutritional elements needed to reduce signs of aging. All Source Vital products and are hand-crafted in small batches. I actually had to wait for one of the products to prepared when I visited the storefront. I ended up buying more than what I came in for while I waited, but I thought it was pretty cool! I knew my product was fresh, which also meant it would be effective.
If you've been rocking with me for a while, you know I love essential oils. I was anxious to try them out because I've been sorely disappointed in the past by other brands that boast using oils in their products.
I’ve come across a decent face wash or two but nothing that just had me shook with results. UNTIL NOW!! If you look through all my pics on IG, ALL, NOT ONE, NOT SOME…ALL of my pics. I have at least one bump somewhere on my face.
Until I started using my Source Vital products. After using the facial deep cleanse my skin feels squeaky clean without the natural oils from skin being sucked out along with everything else.
Can't nobody tell me my melanin ain't out here flourishing!
As long as Source Vital is making products…Unless there’s some unforeseen, unexpected reason…Until further notice…I will only be using Source Vital’s Facial Deep Cleanse.
I love the face wash, but there’s another product by Source Vital that I love even more. It’s almost like falling in love and getting married to your significant other and then having a baby and feeling like you grew a whole new heart!
Yall. Yall! YALLLLLLLLUH! This stuff has to be sprinkled with unicorn fairy dust or mixed with drops of water from the Jordan River, or something. Can’t nobody tell me different. IDC. IDC. IDC. I DO NOT CARE!
First of all, the facial cocktail is custom made to order based on your skin care concerns and they personalize the bottle with your name on it. Admit it. You know that would make you feel a little special too!
I chose moisture as the concern to address with my cocktail. I love a good serum and before using this cocktail, I used several different serums as part of my nighttime skincare routine. Not anymore. They’ve all been replaced by my Source Vital facial cocktail.
At night, I apply it to my face before applying my moisturizer. In the morning, I use it in place of a moisturizer. I swear my makeup applies so much better because of it. It gives an instant dewiness and healthy-looking glow to my skin. Now, instead of having to blot my face about every two hours, it’s cut down to about twice a day, if that. That second blot is typically if I need get a few extra hours of wear out of my makeup after a full day. There’s no drawbacks with my Source Vital products whatsoever. I ran out of the facial toner and decided to use what I already had instead of replacing the one from Source Vital.
My one bump returned practically overnight. I was pissed! But, lesson learned. I’m sticking with strictly Source Vital products.
Source Vital formulates skin care, body care and aromatherapy products. All of which have rave reviews. Visit the website here: www.sourcevital.com If you live in Houston, they have a storefront you can run into. You can also place orders online and have products shipped to you.
I finally have a solid skincare routine, but I’m always on the prowl for beauty products. Let me know what masks and exfoliators you love. I also love a good facial serum. Let me know what products you’re using in the comments below.
